I am an professional internet operative, which is to say that a large part of my life, both professionally and privately is based around the web (uses, advances, manipulations, design, development, etc…). I teach a Graduate Level course at Emerson College and Boston Shaker is how I coin the work I do on my own outside of the day to day grind. At Boston Interactive, I am an Interactive Producer and FIXER. Essentially, I sheppard, projects through UX (user experience), Design (look and feel) and development (code, functionality) to their final destination on the web somewhere. And if/when something shows up on the doorstep with no official problem set, I fix it, because I know how. I will put some of this work up on this site to showcase not only my work but that of Boston Ineractive, a great place to work (is the CEO reading this? yes? good.)

My specialty and personal enjoyment comes from working with small and medium size business’ and start-ups who are smart enough to know they need to be online, but have skills in other areas (perhaps the primary concept of their business model…) and need to rely on someone else to help guide them through this process.

Getting your business online is daunting and complicated.  it is no longer just enough to have a website.  now you need to engage the user on several platforms (facebook, twitter, RSS, linkedin, and more) just to be sure that you have content in a format the user is comfortable with.  This model of integration isn’t meant to segment your customer base, but rather cater to them in a format that is useful and friendly.

So don’t hesitate to be in touch, even only if you don’t know who else to ask.  I am happy to help even at the smallest level because as the world becomes this ‘global village’ the small guy needs to make sure his billboard is just as visible as the anchor store…
